AMERICAN COUNCIL OF LEARNED SOCIETIES (ACLS) FELLOWSHIP

IIAS serves as a centre for hosting fellows on the African Humanities Programme. Fellows from other African countries take up residencies with IIAS for a period of about two to three months to enable them have the opportunity to carry out their research and writing. The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) provides visiting fellows with residential stipends.
Project Objectives
The main objective of this programme is to foster scholarly exchange and intellectual community among Fellows of African Humanities.
